About the Course

This workshop is designed to help you develop confidence with two of the most important techniques you can use at the beginning of a hypnosis session. Clients often arrive distracted, emotional, nervous, rushed, or unsure what to expect. Before meaningful hypnotic work can begin, they need an opportunity to settle into the present moment, become grounded in their environment, and prepare for hypnosis. Desensitize and Center provide a simple yet powerful framework for doing exactly that. During this live workshop, you’ll first observe demonstrations of both techniques and learn the reasoning behind each step. You’ll then have the opportunity to experience the processes for yourself and practice them with a partner in breakout rooms. Once you’ve learned the individual components, you’ll see how Desensitize and Center are combined and used together as a seamless part of a real hypnosis session. To help you put your new skills into practice, you’ll also receive a bonus guided process called A Visit From Your Future Successful Self, allowing you to guide your partner through a meaningful hypnotic experience while practicing your newly acquired skills.
