About this workshop

Most hypnotherapists learn a Progressive Relaxation induction. Very few learn why it works. In this live training, we’ll take apart one of the most effective inductions in my toolbox—the Superfleshy Progressive Relaxation Induction. This is the induction I use with the majority of first-time clients. It combines relaxation, confusion, imagery, deepeners, convincers, embedded suggestions, sensory engagement, and hypnotic language patterns into one seamless experience that gently guides clients into hypnosis. Together we’ll explore what makes this induction so effective, what to watch for as you deliver it, how to use your voice to enhance different sections, and how each component contributes to depth and responsiveness. You’ll experience the induction yourself as part of the training, giving you an opportunity to notice firsthand how different hypnotic principles affect the client experience. As a bonus, you’ll also be guided through the Internal Control Room technique, a powerful symbolic process that allows clients to adjust qualities such as confidence, motivation, calmness, focus, self-trust, and more. After the demonstration, you’ll be paired with another participant and have the opportunity to practice both the induction and the Control Room technique in breakout rooms while receiving guidance and support. This workshop is designed to help you move beyond simply reading a script and begin understanding the mechanics of hypnosis so you can deliver inductions with greater confidence, flexibility, and effectiveness. The workshop will be held Sunday August 9th, 2-4 pm pacific time via Zoom.
